Our latest project here at Sillage reflects our commitment to sustainability and up-cycling. We have sourced a small collection of used uniforms, transformed them into triangle patches, and sewn them together to create sheets of patchwork fabric. Artisans in Tokyo meticulously re-work these sheets by hand, cutting, assembling, stitching, and sewing the different sections together. Finally, the clothes are sent to our factory in Okayama for the buttoning process.

Our new “Blazer Jacket” features the formal yet sporty look of our Veste Two Button, combined with the charm of our Essential Three Pocket Jacket. It includes raglan sleeves and three large patch pockets on the front, complemented by exquisite lining throughout the back and sleeves.

The lining provides a padded thickness to the jacket, enhancing its elegant “preppy” appearance, while the front patch pockets give a nod to traditional work jackets. The Blazer also showcases two beautiful horn buttons below the lapels, with an additional horn button at the top that entirely transforms the jacket's look when buttoned up.

This is a new proposal from Sillage as part of our sustainable initiatives, introducing the “Artisanal Collection.” We disassemble used clothing into triangular pieces, randomly stitch them together to create large fabric sheets, which are then cut and sewn according to patterns by a single artisan. Finally, an artist hand-paints and numbers each piece, ensuring that every item has a unique character. This collection adds new value to vintage garments through a lengthy and meticulous process.

This time, we are remaking a vintage faux suede shirt from the USA. This new patch pocket blazer is based on our 2BJK design, enhanced with inner and sleeve linings for a more elegant finish.

All pockets have been converted to patch style, resulting in a more preppy jacket. Depending on the chosen pants, you can change the silhouette, making it suitable for year-round wear.

When paired with Sillage denim or Oxford shirts, you can achieve a wide preppy style.

Each piece is a collector's item with hand-drawn numbering by artist Yoda.
