A classic down jacket from THE NORTH FACE, combining warmth and lightweight design. For the 2024 fall/winter season, we've revived the details from 2002 and updated it for a well-balanced fit. The fabric is made from lightweight 20-denier ripstop nylon, treated with a water-repellent finish to handle light rain and snow. The glossy fabric adds a refined texture. The easily worn areas, such as the cuffs and hem, are reinforced with nylon taffeta. The insulation consists of Kogen down, which retains warmth through far-infrared effects. High-performance cleaning technology ensures that the clean down achieves excellent insulation. This model is compatible with the zip-in-zip system for attachment to outer layers sold separately. It comes with a convenient stuff sack for easy carrying. The relaxed silhouette allows for easy layering over spacious insulators or hoodies, making it ideal for outdoor activities and casual town use in the fall and winter. Compatible with the zip-in-zip (men's) model number.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses clean processed down as the main material, which is washed and processed by Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer headquartered in Meiwa, Mie Prefecture. By using soft water that flows in this region and the dry climate that allows down feathers to open easily, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to the unwashed version and enhances thermal insulation. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.
