This is a wool-blend model of the Nuptse Jacket, a heritage item representative of THE NORTH FACE from the 1990s, developed for expeditions in 1992. The outer material is made from worsted wool nylon, combining the softness of wool with the lightweight durability of nylon. It features water-repellent treatment, suitable for light rain and snow. Part of the insulation is made from recycled down. Thanks to advanced cleaning technology, the clean down provides excellent thermal insulation. With the elegance unique to wool, it exudes an adult vibe, making it versatile for outdoor activities and urban use.

It's just so warm
This is my first purchase of a down jacket from North. I like the understated logo in the same color. I hope they will increase the series in the same color. Since it contains 50% wool, it has a mature and luxurious feel. I highly recommend it.

Among many jackets that have all the desired features but lack a sense of style, this one is stylish and elegant, making it versatile for various uses. I also liked that it is a mixed charcoal color instead of black, which makes it easy to coordinate.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses cleaned raw down processed by Kawada Feather, a down manufacturing company based in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. In a dry climate that allows down feathers to open easily and using soft water from this region, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to the unwashed down and enhances heat retention. Clean down wraps around the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and processes down (feathers), a limited resource, to be used as the raw material for new products, including down jackets, under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It helps to reduce carbon dioxide emitted during the incineration of down (about 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted for every 1 kg of down) and the carbon dioxide from transporting it from its country of origin to Japan.
