Focused on the world's most famous 100-mile race held in Chamonix, France every August, it emphasizes essential features such as a balance of lightweight and durability needed to conquer challenging terrains. This collection elevates trail running wear to unprecedented levels.
Utilizing a 3-layer waterproof and breathable material that maintains a balance between tear strength and lightweight properties, it enhances the fabric's resilience against sudden incidents during trail runs by incorporating Dyneema fibers into 20 denier nylon. The interior of areas prone to wear while running with a pack is enhanced with glass bead treatment for increased abrasion resistance. Additionally, a tricot fabric with the original Goldwin brand color is used.
For the sides, a lightweight and dynamic 3-layer waterproof and breathable material of 7 denier is implemented, improving movement and comfort. The silhouette fits the body nicely, featuring action pleats at the back that facilitate ease of wear over a pack and enhance arm movement.
The pocket area, made of mesh material, serves as both ventilation and a convenient packable pocket for storing the jacket. A drawcord at the back of the hood allows for a quick and easy fit adjustment. The sleeves are designed with curved shapes for ease of arm movement while running, and the raglan sleeves are crafted to reduce interference with seams when wearing a pack.
These curves are inspired by organic lines found in nature. The front center is equipped with a smooth-opening waterproof zipper and Goldwin's original pull tab, enabling quick responses to sudden weather changes. The logos on the front and back feature reflective properties to enhance nighttime visibility. This apparel ensures comfort during rigorous activities such as 100-mile races.
