This jacket features a unique black fabric with a stripe pattern that cannot be achieved through conventional dyeing techniques. It incorporates a accordion design using Steam Stretch* along the waist, combining elegance and stretch for a beautiful fit when worn. Created with Tri-Polaris™, a new material derived from rice husks, this item is part of the A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE project "TYPE-I", exploring the possibilities that this new color brings to clothing.

*The method of creating unique stretch material by applying high-temperature steam to shrink the fabric. Threads that have the property of shrinking under heat are woven together with other threads, causing only the parts with those threads to contract when steam is applied. This intentional shrinking of specific areas of the woven fabric creates three-dimensional patterns and shapes, completing the garment.
