In 1992, developed for expeditions, the Nuptse Jacket is a heritage model that represents THE NORTH FACE of the 1990s. While maintaining the original specifications, it has been updated with a balanced size that aligns with contemporary trends. It utilizes environmentally friendly recycled down as part of the insulation. The outer fabric is a durable 40-denier ripstop nylon with water repellent treatment, and the shoulder area, which comes in contact with the pack, is reinforced with nylon material. The novelty color is inspired by natural tree bark. This jacket is versatile enough for both outdoor activities and everyday use.

The length is just right, but the width is wide.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses down that has been cleaned and processed by Kawada Feather, a feather processing manufacturer headquartered in Meiwa, Mie Prefecture, as its main raw material. In a dry climate where down feathers are more likely to expand, and using soft water from this region, the down is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and dust without damaging it, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to the unwashed down and its insulation ability is enhanced. The clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT collects and refines down (feathers), which are a limited resource, and utilizes them as raw materials for new products, including down jackets, under the name 'GREENDOWN.' It helps reduce carbon dioxide emitted during the incineration of down (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is generated for every 1 kg of down) and carbon dioxide produced while being shipped from the country of origin to Japan.
