Since its debut in 1985 as an iconic outer shell supporting athletes on their expeditions, this mountain outer shell from THE NORTH FACE has undergone continuous improvements. Updated with an environmentally friendly ePE membrane material, it retains a classic aesthetic. The exterior uses a robust yet supple 150 denier GORE-TEX PRODUCTS two-layer construction. The snow cuff is removable. It features a ZIP IN ZIP system model with an internal zipper for connecting liners, allowing for easy movement with midlayers like fleece, designed with a roomy silhouette. Incorporating a unique multicolor pattern, it also considers design aesthetics. This piece is expected to shine in autumn and winter mountain scenes, from winter hiking to snow sports. Compatible with ZIP IN ZIP (men's) model number; available exclusively at Goldwin Online Store and select stores; store pickup orders are not available.

I bought an M size intending not to wear too much inside. Since it is larger than my usual size, I tried it on in-store before purchasing. The color transition is nice.
I'm a bit worried that the zipper on the side might damage the fabric.

S or M
I was debating between S and M, and it was the right choice to go with M. The length can be adjusted with the drawstring, so I think if you mainly choose what to wear underneath, you can select the right size without any mistakes.
The color use of the black alpine is the best.
