The McMurdo Station is one of the largest research bases in Antarctica, located in the United States. The "Mcmurdo Parka" has been designed for the aurora observation team working there, updated to provide a balanced size that suits current trends. The outer fabric is made from a durable 70D x 160D nylon, utilizing WUROS, which is both durable and recyclable. By using a waterproof membrane that resists hydrolysis and seam tape, the durability of the fabric is enhanced. Environmentally friendly recycled down is used as part of the insulation. The fur can be removed depending on the occasion, and the front features six pockets for excellent storage capacity.

It's super cool.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses down that has been washed and processed by Kawada Feather, a down supplier based in Meiwa, Mie Prefecture. In a dry climate where down feathers open easily, and using soft water from this area, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to untreated down and increased thermal insulation. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT collects and refines down, a limited resource, and utilizes it as raw material for new products, including down wear, under the name 'GREENDOWN.' It helps reduce carbon dioxide (approximately 1.8 kg of CO2 is emitted for every 1 kg of down burned) generated during down incineration and the carbon dioxide emitted when transporting from the country of origin to Japan.
