This over-down jacket is designed for expeditions at the 8000m level and can be worn as an active insulation layer. The main material features a 2-layer structure of GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER RipStop Insulated Shell, providing protection and wind resistance to withstand extreme polar climates while ensuring high waterproof breathability for comfort. It maintains adequate abrasion resistance while remaining lightweight, effectively reducing the intrusion of cold winds, water, and snow, and efficiently expelling moisture from within the garment. The insulation is packed with 900 fill power ProDown, treated for water resistance, and features a three-dimensional box structure (cloud baffle) to minimize cold spots, ensuring excellent warmth retention in low temperatures. The hood area is designed with a higher front placket alongside a down-filled collar and hood to prevent cold air intrusion, enhancing fit and minimizing obstruction of vision. The front zipper utilizes a reverse-opening double-action water-resistant zipper, designed for harness integration. Water-resistant zippers are also employed on the chest and side pockets to prevent moisture intrusion. Additionally, the chest pocket accommodates a wireless hand microphone, while an oversized pocket inside can hold gloves and a water bottle. CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses raw down cleaned by Kawada Feather, a down processing manufacturer based in Meiwa-cho, Mie Prefecture. Utilizing dry climates that allow the down feathers to expand easily and soft water flowing through the area, dirt and dust are thoroughly eliminated without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to pre-cleaned down and enhances thermal insulation. The clean down wraps the body warmer.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project to collect and refine down (feathers), a limited resource, and utilize it as raw material for new products such as down wear under the name 'GREENDOWN.' This reduces carbon dioxide (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide per 1 kg of down) emitted when down is incinerated and carbon dioxide generated during transportation from the country of origin to Japan.
