The HIM Down Parka, representing THE NORTH FACE's expedition gear, is a down jacket designed to endure extreme conditions. Based on the original design released in 1994, it has been updated with modern technology. The exterior is made with 30-denier ePE GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER fabric, providing exceptional wind resistance. Part of the filling consists of recycled down, cleaned with advanced washing technology to remove dirt and dust, ensuring high insulation performance. It comes with a convenient stuff sack for easy transport. The hood is removable, offering versatile styling options. The sleeve pattern has been redesigned for a roomier fit from the elbow to the cuff. This item is ideal for fall and winter camping, outdoor activities, and town use.

Perfect for everyday wear
This is the best down jacket to wear when it's cold. It's warm enough to just wear a t-shirt underneath.
However, it can feel a bit cumbersome to turn around at times.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses down raw materials that have been processed for cleaning by Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer based in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. In dry climates where down feathers can easily open and using soft water that flows through the area, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to the pre-cleaned version, enhancing its thermal insulation. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and refines down (feathers), which is a limited resource, and uses it as raw material for new products such as down apparel under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It reduces the carbon dioxide emitted during the incineration of down (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted per 1 kg of down) and the carbon dioxide produced when sending it from the country of origin to Japan.
