The classic waterproof hardshell from THE NORTH FACE is reimagined with a pattern making technique called "SYN-GRID." To minimize fabric waste during the manufacturing process, we optimize the garment's 3D pattern data using an algorithmic approach to geometry. This method reduces the amount of fabric waste from approximately 13% to around 7% without significantly altering the number of parts or seams. This rain jacket features a three-layer structure made of recycled nylon that excels in waterproof breathability.
