The popular "Gekko" backpack (rucksack) by macpac is a staple that maintains its original design and comfortable fit while introducing a new embroidered logo. Made with the durable and water-resistant "AzTec 8oz canvas" as the main fabric, it features a simple single compartment with a highly functional top-loading design. The spacious rain cover pocket enhances convenience, allowing easy access to the main compartment through a vertical zipper located on the right side, without needing to adjust the rain cover. Zipper pockets are added on both sides, and the front includes straps and a pole loop for storing items like poles. The waist belt is removable. This classic design backpack is versatile enough for everyday use and low-altitude trekking. *Please note that due to the nature of the material, the actual color may slightly differ from the images. For macpac products, sizes W1 and W2 are for women, while S1 (1 size), S2 (2 sizes), and S3 (3 sizes) are unisex harness sizes.

I was looking for a backpack that is a bit larger, not too cute, and not too mountain-like, and I found this one that resembles Macpac. It has a slight mountain vibe, but it feels perfectly fine for urban use, exactly as I imagined. With a capacity of 35L, it can hold a lot. The main compartment is deep, making it difficult to access things at the bottom from the top, but the side zipper allows for direct access from the side, which is convenient.
The abundance of pockets, access to the main compartment from the side zipper, the width of the side pocket gussets, and the Aztec material, all provide the features I want for traveling with a backpack. The classical design and beautiful blue color make it very inviting to take out.
