This all-weather outer shell jacket is designed for trail running, offering a lightweight and compact fit while ensuring high protection. It features THE NORTH FACE's proprietary waterproof and breathable material, "FUTURELIGHT", which shields against rain and wind while reducing moisture buildup inside the garment thanks to its high breathability. The garment is equipped with ripstop fabric made from high-strength polyethylene yarn in areas that require added durability, such as the front body, shoulders, and sleeves, making it suitable for rocky terrains. It can be conveniently carried in the included stuff sack. Practical features include a wired 3D hood that allows visibility while keeping rain out, an adjustable drawcord at the hem for a smooth fit, and hook-and-loop fasteners at the cuffs. This jacket supports activities in adverse weather conditions, whether for endurance trail running races through rugged terrain or long-distance speed hikes where reducing pack weight is essential.
