High loft down jacket finished with nylon fabric that allows you to enjoy its unique texture with shaded expressions. By using black raw yarn for the weft of the fabric, it provides a subtle depth of color, and the crumpling process gives it a distinct shading. The raw yarn eliminates the need for the standard dyeing process, reducing environmental impact and making it less prone to fading from repeated washing and sun exposure. It has a water-repellent finish, making it suitable for light rain. The filling consists of high-quality new duck down that balances loftiness and lightweight properties. The down is treated with advanced cleaning technology called CLEANDOWN, which brings out its natural functionality. The down baffle structure collects the down at the center of the back, efficiently retaining body heat. The lining utilizes light and supple Pertex Quantum for added comfort. The front seam line features the 'Spur Line,' a curve that represents Goldwin's brand identity, which started with ski wear, adding a discreet design element. The seam line also accommodates handwarmer pockets on both sides. There is an inner pocket at the front bodice for excellent storage capability. For design accents, a thicker Vislon zipper is used at the front, featuring a double slider for versatile styling. Consideration for environmental impact is demonstrated by using recycled yarn in some of the materials.

gets dirty
I bought Goldwin's outerwear for the first time, but it was terrible.
- I was hit by rain so hard that I didn't even need an umbrella on the way back, about 10 minutes. I was told it has water-repellent treatment, but when I got home and wiped it, it was already leaking.
- It became stained from the rain, so I reluctantly took it to the cleaners. But this time, there are stains left around the collar.
- Since it's winter, I had moisturizer on my face, and that probably transferred.
The water-repellent is weak, and getting this dirty in one go is too weak for an outdoor brand. I want to return it.

CLEAN DOWN
The main raw material is down cleaned and processed at Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer based in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. Using the soft water that flows through this area in a dry climate where down feathers open easily, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to unwashed down, enhancing its thermal insulation. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.
