The Sierra Parka, a heritage model from THE NORTH FACE originally released in 1970, is now reimagined as a lightweight insulated vest. The outer fabric is made of nylon featuring a unique hollow yarn that offers exceptional lightness and a cotton-like texture with water-repellent properties. Some of the insulation is made from recycled down, providing the signature baffle feel and lightweight comfort. The lining is crafted from a thin, smooth 12-denier nylon ripstop. Silver buttons on the front add a stylish accent. The front pockets incorporate arrow-tack construction to enhance durability while maintaining a classic design aesthetic. This versatile piece is ideal not just for outdoor activities in autumn and winter but also easily pairs with everyday outfits.

Just right
It's just right for warm winter days. It has windproof properties and I wear it when a down jacket is not necessary. Since the sides do not open all the way down, even slim people can wear it without the down vest floating.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses raw down that has been washed and processed at Kawada Feather, a down processing manufacturer based in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture, as its main material. In a dry climate that allows down feathers to open easily, and using soft water that flows through this area, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down is more voluminous than before washing, and its thermal insulation properties are enhanced. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and refines down (feathers), a limited resource, and utilizes it as a new product material, including down wear, under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It can reduce carbon dioxide generated when down is incinerated (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted for every 1 kg of down) and the carbon dioxide emitted when transported from the country of origin to Japan.
