The Sierra Parka, a heritage model from THE NORTH FACE that debuted in 1970, embodies the design of the original outdoor down parka. The outer fabric is made of lightweight nylon with hollow yarn for a unique texture and is water-resistant with a cotton-like natural feel. It features some recycled down in the insulation, offering the distinctive baffle design and lightweight comfort. The lining is made of a thin, smooth 12-denier nylon ripstop. The hood is detachable, and the silver buttons on the front add a stylish accent. With its boxy silhouette and large flap pockets, this jacket is easy to coordinate for everyday wear.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses raw down processed for cleaning at Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer based in Meiwa-cho, Mie Prefecture. In a dry climate that allows down feathers to open easily, using soft water from this area thoroughly removes dirt and dust without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The clean down has superior loft compared to uncleaned down, enhancing its insulation capabilities. The clean down wraps the body in warmth.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and refines down (feathers), a limited resource, and uses it as raw material for new products such as down garments under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It helps reduce carbon dioxide (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted for every kg of down incinerated) generated during incineration and the carbon dioxide emitted when transporting down from its country of origin to Japan.
