High insulation cold weather jacket designed for use in snowy conditions, including mid-winter variations. The main material features ultra-high strength Spectra ripstop fabric with high tear resistance. This jacket is constructed to withstand the rigors of winter expeditions, functioning as an insulation jacket or belay jacket, and employs a Cloud Down structure to reduce cold spot formation from down displacement. Additionally, titanium coating applied to the lining enhances thermal insulation through radiant heat retention. The jacket is filled with high-quality water-repellent down with a fill power of 900, ensuring excellent cold protection and functionality maintenance in moist conditions. The silhouette features a slightly larger standard fit that can be worn over an outer shell jacket. The hood is designed to accommodate helmets. The main front zipper has a reverse-opening dual-action design for ease of use while wearing a harness. There are zippered hand-warmer pockets on both sides. This technical insulation wear is recommended as essential gear for winter mountaineering, made compact for easy carrying by combining carefully selected materials.

The highest functionality I've ever used
I used it at a tent site in the Northern Alps during winter. In an environment below -10℃ during a halt, I wore it over my outer layer for photography and felt completely comfortable without any cold. Since winter mountaineering requires bulky gear, I want to choose items that are as compact and lightweight as possible, but considering the cold, my options have been limited to down jackets weighing around 1kg. This product, at just over 500g, can be used without any issues even during halts in the winter Northern Alps.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN uses down that has been washed and processed by Kawata Feather, a feather processing manufacturer based in Meiwa, Mie Prefecture, as its main raw material. The down is thoroughly cleaned of dirt and dust without damaging it by using soft water from this area in a dry climate where the feathers can open easily, resulting in cleaner down. The cleaned down is more voluminous and improves insulation compared to the unwashed version. The clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and refines the limited resource of down (feathers) to be used as raw materials for new products, including down apparel, under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It can reduce carbon dioxide emitted when down is incinerated (about 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted per 1 kg of down) and also the carbon dioxide generated when shipping from the country of origin to Japan.
