Best for cold weather
I bought a larger size, but it's comfortable enough that I don't mind the size and it's very useful because it goes well with other outfits.
Zip-In Zip-Aconcagua Jacket (Women's)
I bought a larger size, but it's comfortable enough that I don't mind the size and it's very useful because it goes well with other outfits.
For use as an inner layer with the mountain jacket. I bought it to use when visiting Tohoku. It is a bit pricey, but it's lightweight and warm, and I'm glad I made the splurge! I was able to enjoy myself without being defeated by the cold or snowfall.
I purchased this to go with my mountain light jacket. It works excellently as an inner layer, and of course it's warm on its own as well. The color is somewhat flashy, resembling gold, but surprisingly it blends well and I don’t mind it. I think it will be very useful this winter!
I bought it for its cute shine. I wanted something that was very lightweight and packable, so I chose this. I thought it might be a bit small if I wear a thick knit underneath, but it looks compact when I wear lighter clothes, so I like that aspect.
I liked the lightweight feel. I bought it as a gift, and the color and design were well-received.
I bought it for the shiny texture. It’s the perfect down jacket for the current autumn season rather than deep winter. I chose XL, so I can wear it comfortably over thick layers. There is one sad point, though; I found a small hole in the back from which the inner fluff was coming out. It’s unfortunate, but I’ll use it without worrying too much.
I like how lightweight it is and the stylish color. When I tuck in the black cuffs, it gives a soft impression and is perfect!
The sleeve length was long, so I exchanged the M size for an S size. The exchange was a great success.
It looks glossy and is not too casual for a down jacket. It's one of my favorites. It's warm and not bulky.
I chose the rockspary pink. It had a calm feel and was great. It is lightweight and warm, and as it gets colder, I feel I can enjoy winter by wearing it alone or using it as an inner layer with the zip-in-zip jacket according to the temperature.
I purchased this to use with the mountain light down. The cuffs and neck can be buttoned, so there is no stress when putting it on or taking it off. It's nice that it doesn’t make me look bulky, and I can wear it neatly.
The fabric has a slight sheen, and I was wondering how it would feel just looking at it, but when I tried it on, I was surprised at how lightweight it was. It doesn’t feel too puffy, and the color is nice too. This year, I plan to wear it out a lot.
I haven't been this impressed with The North Face since Gore-Tex! Plus, the fact that it’s not made in China means there’s nothing to criticize!
It feels so light that I don’t even feel like I’m wearing it, and it’s very warm. The color is also cool.
I originally thought it was a larger fit, so the S size was just right for me. For those who want to wear it oversized on the street, I recommend going up from your usual size. It’s so lightweight that I’ve been wearing this down jacket for work and everywhere.
If you are hesitant, I believe this down jacket is the one to choose first. It’s simple, lightweight, and warm. I recommend it!
Warm!! That's the bottom line. In the middle of winter, I wore it together with the mountain light jacket. If I could wish for anything, it would be that I prefer a matte finish instead of shiny, so I would be happy if there were a matte type available.
I purchased it in black S. Fortunately, I was able to buy it at just the right timing for the season. I had bought the mountain jacket a little while ago, but I learned that the applicable zip-in-zip changes every year, so I made this purchase. Normally, I wear size 5 or 7, and it has a comfortable amount of room, but it doesn’t puff out even when it’s zipped in. I’m glad I bought it.
I bought it for its beautiful shine. As a result, it has been very useful this winter! It’s not just pretty, but it’s lightweight, can be compactly folded, and is easy to carry, making it handy for various situations. Since it’s for women, even if I layer it, the shape remains intact when I wear it! I was looking for something relatively affordable because it was my first time buying from The North Face, and I was worried about warmth, but it was not a problem! I really liked that the inside of the waist pockets is fleece fabric, which kept me warm... It’s my favorite that I want to cherish and continue using!♡
It's easy to use all seasons since the outer layer and inner layer can be paired together.
I bought this because I wanted a lightweight, medium thickness down jacket. They were hard to find both in stores and online, but I finally got my hands on it. It was a little big for me, but I liked it. I always find it difficult to choose the right size when shopping online.
This is the inner layer of the second-generation Zip-In Jacket. I hesitated between black and this color, but I made the right choice with this one. I can use it for a long time.
I purchased it online because the size was not available in the store. The product that was sent is completely different from the impression I got in the store—it was flat and wrinkled. I had to fluff the down with my hands and keep it in the warm airflow of the air conditioner to finally get it to feel fluffy. The body part is fluffy, but the arms are a bit less fluffy. It might be designed that way. The product itself is warm and lightweight.
The length is just right! It's lightweight and super warm!
I went up one size from my usual down size, and it felt just right.
It's lightweight and warm. I'm considering buying another one in a different color!
In any case, my wife was confused about the 'color'! In the end, she decided on this slightly ivory-like color! We haven't worn it yet since it's not cold enough, but she's looking forward to the cold weather. The size was perfect!
At 170 cm and a standard build, L size was just right. I thought it would be tight as an inner down, but there is enough room, and it seems like it could be used as an outer layer.
It's lightweight and very comfortable. I want to wear it a lot.
Although it's light, it's warm and very useful for the current season when I don't need to wear thick down yet. I also like the color, which is an elegant champagne gold.
Worn on a day when the daytime outside temperature dropped below ten degrees. I can normally wear a medium gauge knit or a hoodie underneath. The color is labeled gray, but it looks like a glossy gold beige, which is easy to match. It also goes well with light blue denim.
I accidentally found a product I had been searching for a long time! I want to make good use of it once winter comes.
I thought it might have been better to go one size larger. It's a snug fit, so it might be tight if I wear a thicker knit. However, The North Face down jackets are really warm, so I think a thinner knit would be fine.
I camped during Golden Week in the rain. I was cold and uncomfortable, but once I put this on, it was super comfortable!
A winter staple item. The comfort (lightness, warmth, easy care) is amazing. Since it was on sale, I purchased a second one in a different color.
I usually wear a lot of black, but since it was on sale, I decided to take a risk! I wanted a bright-colored down jacket, so I bought the M size in Lapis Blue. I'm 161 cm tall and weigh 46 kg, with narrow shoulders. The M size has some room and fits just right. My arms are long, so the S size would be too small. The color seems suitable for both men and women, and for teens and twenties as well. My family will share it!
I'm replacing my previous version of the Aconcagua that I wore for about 20 years. I'm happy that the silhouette is a bit more streamlined around the waist. The sleeves are a little long (I have long arms, so the M size left my wrists exposed and cold). The outer fabric is somewhat thicker. It's a beautiful blue and looks good as an accent under a mountain jacket. Of course, it can also be worn as an outer layer in town.
