This insulation jacket features down with a fill power of 900 and a water-repellent finish, designed for use in harsh cold conditions. The outer fabric is made with a part of fishing net recycled yarn, utilizing a thin and supple nylon material. The water-repellent treatment allows it to handle light rain and snow. The insulation consists of clean down, which has impurities removed as much as possible, providing high loft and thermal performance. The treated down retains its loft even when wet, helping you stay warm. It includes zippered pockets on both sides, and the slightly elevated collar enhances warmth around the neck. It comes with a compact stuff sack for easy storage and transportation. This versatile piece can be worn as an outer layer or as a mid-layer. It is perfect for trekking, camping, and snow activities from autumn to winter.

It's so warm that it feels too hot.
I chose XL based on the premise of securely closing the front zipper, but with this warmth, I could have sized down for a snug fit since a light outfit is sufficient inside. I can't part with it this winter.

CLEANDOWN
CLEANDOWN is made from washed down sourced from Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer based in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. In a dry climate that allows the feathers to expand and using soft water from the region, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in cleaner down. The cleaned down has superior loft compared to unwashed down, enhancing its insulation properties. Clean down wraps around the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT collects and refines the limited resource of down (feathers) to be used as raw materials for new products, including down clothing, under the name 'GREENDOWN.' It helps reduce carbon dioxide (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted per 1 kg of down) generated when down is incinerated and the carbon dioxide generated when shipping from the country of origin to Japan.
