The comfort, thermal insulation, and lightness are typical of North. However, perhaps due to poor sewing, I find a feather or two coming out almost every day. It's disappointing given the quality of the item.

I purchased the Thunder jacket last year, but since it wasn't ZIP IN ZIP compatible, I bought it again. I wear it connected with the mountain jacket.

I also have the previous model, but since it became ZIPinZip compatible, I bought this one. There are about four types of ZIPinZip, but since the mountain jacket became an S size, I bought this one in size S. It doesn't puff up the most. It hasn't gotten really cold yet, so I'm not sure how it compares with others, but it's comfortable and I'm satisfied. However, when taking it off in ZIPinZip state, it's hard to get my hands out, so Aconcagua is easier to put on and take off.

The Thunder jacket from last year's model had about 50% down, but this year's model has 95%, so it's warm.

I recommend the Thunder series. I am in the southern Kanto region, but I’m getting through winter with the All Time Hot Crew and Warm Crew with this Thunder Jacket layered underneath. By the way, the outer layer is Mountain Raintex or Under Dry GTX. Even with the Clime Lite, it can be managed in this area.
