The sewing is a bit...
The comfort, thermal insulation, and lightness are typical of North. However, perhaps due to poor sewing, I find a feather or two coming out almost every day. It's disappointing given the quality of the item.
Thunder Jacket (Men's)
The comfort, thermal insulation, and lightness are typical of North. However, perhaps due to poor sewing, I find a feather or two coming out almost every day. It's disappointing given the quality of the item.
I purchased the Thunder jacket last year, but since it wasn't ZIP IN ZIP compatible, I bought it again. I wear it connected with the mountain jacket.
I also have the previous model, but since it became ZIPinZip compatible, I bought this one. There are about four types of ZIPinZip, but since the mountain jacket became an S size, I bought this one in size S. It doesn't puff up the most. It hasn't gotten really cold yet, so I'm not sure how it compares with others, but it's comfortable and I'm satisfied. However, when taking it off in ZIPinZip state, it's hard to get my hands out, so Aconcagua is easier to put on and take off.
The Thunder jacket from last year's model had about 50% down, but this year's model has 95%, so it's warm.
I use it with the mountain jacket's zip in zip. The fit is a bit tight, but it's light and perfect, and when using zip in zip, it looks smart without puffing up. I recommend it!
I'm using it for walking my dog in the early morning and evening when the temperature drops. It's very comfortable!
It's very light and feels good to wear, it's just the right shape and size. I haven't found a form that fits well, so I'm glad.
First, when I got home, I was surprised by how light it was when handed over in a cardboard box!! After taking it out and trying it on, I was surprised by the silhouette being a bit slimmer while still feeling warm!! In mid-winter, it's guaranteed to be used as an inner layer with zip in.
I bought a new model. I have two of the previous model in different colors, but I liked the design I saw in-store and purchased it. It feels easier to wear and warmer than the previous model.
I considered purchasing a jacket with more down for winter, but after trying on various options in the store, I ended up buying the Thunder jacket. The new model is also very light and warm, and with a blend of synthetic and down, it can be used without worrying much about slight rain. I already have two in black and navy, and since I can wear it without hesitation for both commuting and casual use, I ended up purchasing the third one after careful consideration.
When driving in a car, a thick down jacket feels restrictive around the shoulders and uncomfortable, so I selected this wear. I hope the season to wear it comes quickly!
It's warmer than I expected. Even with the mountain jacket attached via ZIPinZIP, I don't feel the weight and it's warm.
I was looking for a thin down jacket, tried on M and L, and ended up with L. I heard that this year's model is a bit more roomy. I'm very happy with how light and stylish it is.
I immediately bought it because I liked the design! Considering the trend of global warming, I thought it would be good to have a thin one, so I purchased it.
I bought it for my husband to go to Dolomites in September. He is 70 years old, 172 cm tall, and weighs 65 kg. It fits just right. I purchased it first and loved it, so I ordered an additional one to wear as a pair.
This time I purchased it with a birthday coupon. It's a very appreciated coupon. The wearing feel is very light and very warm.
It's too hot for down, but it's still too cold for a sweatshirt, this is a product I want for the changing seasons. It has no bulk when worn and is a very smart-looking item. Also, it can be stored compactly, so it's easy to carry on trips, and it has only advantages.
It's thin and not bulky, yet very warm.
It can be used both as an outer layer and inner layer. Also, compared to similar items from fast fashion brands, the fabric quality is good and it allows for easy movement without feeling tight around the shoulders and elbows, making it usable during sports. It's truly a versatile item, suitable from commuting to leisure on weekends. It’s worth the price!
I was protected from the cold. It was light and good, but perhaps slightly small.
I have many down puffer jackets, and this is the best. I don't understand how this jacket is so warm even though it's so lightweight. Yes, the jacket is a little expensive, but it's worth the money.
Perfect for commuting, outdoor activities, and anything else.
Great as both an outer layer and an inner layer. The design is universal and can be loved for a long time!
It's sharp and mature, somewhat slim. I was worried because my husband is on the heavier side (see size) but it was fine.
The stand collar also has excellent cold protection, making it warm enough that scarves or neck warmers are unnecessary.
I had been interested in the Thunder for a while. I purchased it when it was restocked at the store.
It's warm and can be quickly put on, and it can also be used as an inner down. It's versatile.
I'm glad I bought it.
Height 180 cm, weight 70 kg.
I like the fit compared to other North down jackets. It's light and warm.
I gifted this jacket to a man around 175 cm who owns a mountain jacket. It was perfect as a lightweight down to wear under this jacket, as it's warm without being too bulky!
Just right when it's not too cold, warm enough and good.
It's stylish.
With just this one piece, it can be useful in any scene from mountain hiking to commuting and school use, to town use. In places that are not extremely cold (like Tokyo or Osaka), it has excellent heat retention to get through winter with just this one piece.
Because it is designed for mountain use, it is meant to fit tightly, so it may be more suitable for those with a stylish physique rather than larger builds, so if you want more room, you might want to size up from your usual size. Anyway, I think it's the strongest inner down.
It's a perfect jacket for slightly chilly places.
I think it's versatile for autumn and winter outerwear and inner layers.
Compared to similar items from other manufacturers, it has a sleek shape and looks great even worn alone.
It's light and easy to wear.
Even in winter, on days when the temperature is a bit high,
it’s just right.
It seems to be usable in a wide range of seasons, including spring, autumn, and winter.
Also, it seems like it can be styled in various ways as an outer or inner layer.
The sizing is just right too.
It's warm even in below-freezing temperatures. Amazing how light and thin it is. The sleeves are a bit long, giving it a one-star down kind of feel.
Lightweight, water-repellent, and a versatile down that can be used as an inner or outer layer!
The navy color also has a very luxurious feel.
Convenient as both an outer and inner layer.
I bought it because it is said to be famous.
I wonder why I didn't buy it sooner!
Perfect with the Thunder jacket inside and the Raoh jacket on top.
I have various types of the Thunder series, but I added this jacket during the member discount period.
I bought a navy one as my second piece.
I will rotate between two since I wear them often ^ ^
I purchased it intending to wear it under snowwear or outerwear. It's somewhat tight but warm and doesn't hinder movement.
Birthday and Christmas joint present!
They liked the simple design!
Lightweight and warm, perfect for walking in the city.
The construction is small, so it's better to be careful when choosing a size.
At 167cm and 66kg, the L size was slightly smaller than just right for me.
The item itself is a reliable product that is lightweight and warm.
Lightweight, warm, and the comfort is excellent.
I've been wearing it for 5 years. It's very useful!
I previously bought the Thunder Hoodie. I used it for outdoor and casual wear, but I wanted it to use as an inner layer for jackets, so I purchased it again. It's an item that can be used in any scene.
Though small in stature, I gave my father, who is over 60 and has a bit of a belly, an L size as a present.
He is very happy, saying it is extremely warm and light.
The color is vibrant, and he says it's very useful for walks.
I bought it in a different color, and I really like the good color. I bought an L last time, but this time I chose an XL to use as outerwear, and it had just the right amount of space.
Exceptional comfort, lightweight and easy to carry.
The fit is slightly larger, but since I wear it as both an inner and outer layer, it's the best size.
Though it’s a snowy area, it’s warm enough until the winter really starts, and it has become a frequently worn item.
So far, I had the Thunder Jacket L in NY32012, but the zipper's butterfly rod was under too much tension and got bent. So this time I went up one size to XL. I also changed the color. L was black. This time, it's urban navy. I was surprised that the fabric feels completely different. I should have bought XL from the start. From now on, I will differentiate between L and XL. It feels like it changed from Koden to Koden PRO. However, it's a warm jacket. Thunder Hoodie in XL is also good!
I recommend the Thunder series. I am in the southern Kanto region, but I’m getting through winter with the All Time Hot Crew and Warm Crew with this Thunder Jacket layered underneath. By the way, the outer layer is Mountain Raintex or Under Dry GTX. Even with the Clime Lite, it can be managed in this area.
Lightweight and warm. It's just right for casual use or shopping malls and is versatile. It can also be layered under jackets, and I opted for no hood.
