This is a technical base layer designed for high-altitude activities where conditions can change dramatically, such as during expeditions with high physical exertion. The fabric features a double-knit structure consisting of a dry layer made from water-repellent fibers on the skin side, and an absorption layer that quickly disperses and dries sweat on the surface. Even when sweating, moisture is efficiently transferred from the dry layer at the skin surface through a dot-like bonding surface to promote rapid drying on the fabric surface. Additionally, it is treated with Polygiene Stay Fresh technology to reduce odors. The antibacterial action of silver ions helps suppress bacteria that thrive on damp fibers, minimizing odors at the source. The design features a limited 25th anniversary print of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, photographed with a film camera by Naoki Ishikawa, a renowned photographer and THE NORTH FACE athlete who has accomplished the exceptional feat of summiting all 14 peaks over 8,000 meters.
