There is a problem with the surface fabric
The overall insulation and fit design are perfect, but friction on the cuffs and side pockets causes pilling, and it's not even been a week since I started using it.
Southern Cross Parka (Unisex)

I usually wear size M, but S is a bit loose. There's plenty of storage, so I don't need a bag for my wallet, cigarettes, or phone. I plan to wear it for camping and walking the dog when it gets colder.
I've only tried it on, but I'm looking forward to actually wearing it‼️ I didn't find the weight to be a concern and thought it would be nice for everyday use!
This is from The North Face's top-of-the-line Summit Series, and it's warm enough even when wearing thin layers below. Plus, the black color looks sharp when worn.
I couldn't buy it last year because it was sold out, so I reserved it this year. It's really great—I'm looking forward to the peak of winter!
I bought this for my husband, and he is really happy, saying it's very warm for winter wear.
It's warm enough to feel secure going to Antarctica. I would love it to be a bit lighter to be perfect!! I wish they would offer it in men's and women's sizes instead of unisex.
I heard this winter would be cold, so it is very warm and the length is good too.
After much consideration, I decided to purchase it. I wanted a loose fit, so choosing size L was the right decision. I'm concerned about the arm ribbing, but it was likely necessary. I’m mostly satisfied.
This is my second season using one I purchased last year. At first, it was stiff and bulky, narrowing my field of vision, making driving and walking a bit scary, but folding the fur part makes it work well. There are a ton of pockets (maybe too many lol), and I can store things my way, and I like that I can use the hand warmers differently depending on how cold my hands are. I might use it regularly this year.
I was torn between the Antarctica and this one, but I chose the Southern Cross because I can store my tablet in the inner pocket.
This is... way too cool‼ It's super warm‼
It is very warm and made durable. There are plenty of pockets, which is convenient.
I was debating between black, but I saw this year's new color in the store at first glance and fell in love. I'm tall, and I often struggle with sleeve lengths, but this product has longer sleeves and fits perfectly. The staff provided detailed explanations, so I could purchase it with confidence.
It's a bit heavy, but incredibly warm.
I couldn't see it in an actual store, so I ordered size L online. I have longer arms, so even wearing a fleece as an inner layer has plenty of space. The downside is that it's a bit heavier than I expected. Other than that, design and size are great.
It feels a bit heavy when holding it, but once worn, it feels enveloping, and I don't mind the weight. There are plenty of pockets, so I don't need to carry a bag, making me feel lighter overall. I usually remove the fur when wearing it.
It feels heavier than regular down jackets, but that just means it's top-notch for insulation. However, in urban areas where it doesn't snow much, it might be a bit over-spec for daily use.
I also have the Antarctica, but compared to that, it feels lighter and the fabric is softer and easier to wear. It's just so warm!
I wanted to buy this after seeing the product before reservations started, so I reserved it. I'm really glad I got the product when it arrived - it’s wonderful to have found a product I’m happy with.
Purchased as a present
180cm 70kg Purchased XL size, slightly feels heavy but seems very warm.
Recommended by the store staff and bought it because I liked the design.
The functionality is excellent, and I'm glad I purchased it.
Since around November, I have been using the inner wear as a long T-shirt after removing the fur from the hood.
The reason for purchase was that I liked the design and it is also functionally excellent.
I hesitated between XS and S, but since I was recommended S when I tried it on at the store, I went with S. The length of the sleeves and shoulder width are just right, and the torso has a comfortable fit. I think XS would be good for a tighter fit.
I have only used it for commuting so far, but I feel no cold even in a snowstorm, indicating its high performance. The design and color are superb and I can't let it go.
It's good. Thank you, thank you.
It's very warm! I have hardly worn the down jackets that I thought were warm until now. At the Sapporo Snow Festival, I usually can't endure the cold and leave quickly, but I was able to look around properly. For me, the price was high, but I'm glad I purchased it.
I've wanted the Southcross for a long time♪
I'm glad I bought it♪
It has a relaxed fit which makes it easy to move,
and there are lots of pockets, making it easy to use.
However, it would be better if it had a double zip.
(I hope for this improvement. Thank you.)
The cold protection is top-notch. It looks good when worn slightly tight.
I bought it after trying it on in the store. M was small, so I had no choice but to buy L size. The sleeves are long, and it becomes noticeable after wearing it for a long time. Also, the sleeve rib gets rubbed and becomes fluffy. I would be happy if it gets improved in the next model. The design is incredibly cool.
168cm, stocky build. Last year I purchased the Antarctica parka in M size. It is somewhat large. Therefore, I bought the Southcross in S size. Even when I wear UNIQLO fleece as an inner layer, it feels comfortable without being tight!
