Waterproof shell jacket featuring ePE GORE-TEX PRODUCTS 2-layer material without fluorocarbon. Updated for the 2024 fall/winter season with a balanced fit to match current trends. The outer fabric is made of durable 70-denier nylon with a slightly longer length for warmth. The front has a double flap design that enhances waterproofing. Compatible with the ZIP IN ZIP system, allowing connection to inner layers via a dedicated zipper. This jacket includes THE NORTH FACE's iconic shoulder panel design. Choose a larger size
I purchased it along with the Zip-In Zip. I tried on several combinations of sizes to figure out what would work best, and decided on size L to wear layers underneath, but for the Zip-In Zip I went with size M. The L size is a bit large, but it can be adjusted at the wrists and waist, so it's not a big deal. Anyway, it keeps the wind out, so I can manage quite well even in very cold places.

If you want the just right size, one size smaller than usual might be fine
In quiet places, the rustling sound can be bothersome, but its usability is very good. I thought I would wear it mostly on its own, so I chose size S, but it worked perfectly with the Thunder Round Neck Jacket in size M that I already purchased and the Zip-In Zip, so it will be useful this winter.
