Mountain Down Jacket (Unisex)
This is perfect for me, who gets cold easily, and I am very satisfied with my purchase! I used to wear thick layers, but with this mountain down jacket, I don't have to dress too warmly, and I'm not cold 👍
I wear it when I go for my morning walks in the cold. I think it would be better if the gown part and the boa-tex part were separated.
I bought it considering the upcoming season. Wearing it over a T-shirt is warm enough, so I don't have to layer too much, and it reduces my regular laundry, which is convenient.
It's warmer than I imagined, and I'm fine wearing light clothes under the jacket. I recommend it.
Its windproof and heat-retaining properties are outstanding, so I feel secure even in the dead of winter. It's lightweight and easy to move in, and the silhouette is beautiful. It’s great for both town and outdoor activities.
I bought it as a gift for my son, who is going on a long business trip to the Tohoku region. It looks very warm, and the size fit well, so he was pleased. I believe it will help him face the cold of Tohoku.
I bought it as a birthday present for my younger brother. I purchased size M. He said it felt good to wear, and the shape was very nice! I'm glad I could give him something he wanted!
I own a Gore-Tex down coat that is a bit thin, and last winter in the snowstorm in Hokkaido, it was cold. This basic down parka is definitely the warmest. I bought a slightly larger size, so if it’s even colder, I can wear a fleece underneath, which is nice.
The size is just right. The size fits perfectly. It seems warm even with just a T-shirt. I think it will be great for leisure and commuting. If you like a looser fit, I think the S size would be good too.
I have wanted this for a long time, but I was worried about the price. I made a quick decision during the sale! I really love it.
I bought it to wear for my winter commute. I don’t worry about the rain or snow!
It's warmer and doesn’t feel as tight compared to the Baltro.
I bought it to go to the ski resort. It’s warm enough that a T-shirt underneath is no problem.
The functionality and versatility go without saying. It goes well with anything, and I can survive the winter with just this one piece.
It's just a little big, so I would be a bit careful when purchasing. Personally, I wanted to wear it a bit tighter, so I was concerned about the sleeve and length, but I was extremely satisfied with the overall fit yesterday.
The fit feels slightly more relaxed than the previous model.
My husband is wearing it. He says it’s very warm even in Hokkaido's dead winter.
It feels great to wear and is very practical! It's suitable for outdoor activities! The design is simple and good!
There was no bulging around the sleeves, and even with a bit of rain, I didn't get wet, so it was good for commuting.
Anyway, I get cold easily, so this winter, it has been very useful.
I was torn between size M and L, but I tried it on in advance and bought L. No problem even if I wear a hoodie underneath. The color combination of navy x black is very cool. I was very satisfied as I was able to purchase it at a great price in the sale.
Can be worn for outdoor activities as well as in the city. Warmth is excellent, not cold even in the depths of winter, but one downside is that it doesn't close tightly around the neck, making it a bit vulnerable to cold winds from that area... I think it would be perfect for keeping warm if paired with a scarf.
It's light, warm, and the best!
I'm glad I took the plunge and bought it.
After debating whether to choose the Baltro or the Mountain Down, I opted for the warmer one at the waist, and while I was unsure about buying it because it was a bit pricey, the staff informed me that the mountain parka is completely waterproof!
It's warm and seems usable in various scenes. I started with black, but I want to try other colors too.
It's convenient and useful for everything from everyday use to camping.
Above all, The North Face down is definitely warm. (^^)
I live by the sea, but winter winds are no issue, and the navy color is really nice.
The ladies' mountain down coat in size M was just right. This one was a bit oversized in size S, but considering I would be wearing a backpack and for ease of movement, I chose an XS that fits snugly around the arms. There’s enough room even if I wear a sweater underneath.
I immediately wore it hiking and was very satisfied with the warmth!
I tried it on and immediately purchased the color I liked (Urban Navy) when it went on sale.
It's warm when worn, and in the warm winter of Japan, it feels a little over-spec (sweating on the train).
If there were to be improvements in the future, I would like the surface material to be a little softer during the dry winter period as it tends to feel stiff. However, given it's designed for mountain use, it might be difficult.
Since it became sale-priced, I purchased it immediately. The size was a little big. If you wear it over a long-sleeved top, it's warm enough to go out anywhere.
It's a bit large, but it's very useful for casual wear. I think M is better for those who want a perfect fit.
I use it for both commuting and personal use. For those in the Kanto region, it might be over-spec, but for someone from a snow country, this specification is very helpful. Personally, it's great for wearing during snow removal work or when brushing snow off the car. As for size, the perfect size is S, but at 160cm and 75kg with a solid body type, I wear M over a thick sweater with ease. The price is high, but good things are worth it.
The moment I put it on, I could feel the warmth, and the design and color were to my liking, making it easy to coordinate.
I had been wearing a model from before the size revision for about 6 years, but I felt it was slightly small, so after the size revision, I bought the same M size. It turned out to be just the right size, a bit larger than before. The biggest surprise was the width of the sleeves. They are noticeably wider now. The sleeve length can be adjusted with the Velcro at the wrist. Also, it's softer and easier to move in than the previous model. Above all, it's stylish and warm.
Unlike a typical down jacket, it uses a high-strength fabric, so I can wear it without worrying about damage. Its insulation and the way the hood stands are satisfactory. It's simple black, so I don't mind if it overlaps with others. There's a sense of trust that having this one piece will get me through anything.
It was a good purchase.
I went to a certain theme park and was looking for an outerwear to spend almost the whole day outdoors.
I was torn between the Baltro and this one, but I decided on this product for its GORE-TEX functionality and the fact that it doesn't puff up when worn.
It has a comfortable insulation that doesn't get excessively warm like typical downs, making it stress-free to wear all day while going indoors and outdoors.
Even if I spill water, thanks to the GORE-TEX outer material, I’m not worried about getting wet or dirty.
It's cold for riding a bike, but I think it's good for everyday use.
The size feeling differs from what you see online to trying it on in real life, so I recommend purchasing after trying it on.
It's warm and has waterproofing, so I have no complaints.
Unlike the Nupsi, the Gore fabric is sturdy. It's a bit heavy, but it seems like it will last long.
It has a bit of a fluffy feeling, but it's the warmest compared to down from any manufacturer.
The performance is so good that it gets hot when moving around. But if I open the front with the zipper, it's just right, so I'm glad I bought it. It's very useful for watching sports or when waiting intently while my child plays in the park during winter.
I bought it for my son. It's a bit pricey, but he says it's light and warm. The design is neutral and goes well with anything. Since it's made of Gore-Tex material, I guess it's a bit strong against rain.
I haven't confirmed yet, but it should block the wind. I'm satisfied.
My wife bought it and it's highly praised for being warm! I immediately purchased one myself. I am 175cm and 80kg and bought size XL. The down is lightweight and I wear it lightly. The exterior is also made with Gore-Tex, so it's extremely durable. It's definitely a winter must-have item.
I tried it on at the flagship store and made my decision. At first, I was thinking about getting the Baltoro, but when I tried it on, it was too bulky, so I gave up. I decided on this one since it can be used for ski resorts as well as town use. I'm also hoping for waterproofing.
I used to wear down from other manufacturers for winter trekking, but it wasn't warm enough so I had to layer up. Since I switched to this mountain down, I have been enjoying warm winter trekking. Also, it is active as everyday cold-weather wear, and for me, it is truly a versatile down jacket.
Since it's a snowy country, Gore-Tex waterproofing is appreciated. I'm also glad I upgraded sizes this season as the length has become longer.
Comfortable even in the harsh winters of Tohoku. The best down. Additional purchase of the Mountain Light Jacket M (2024 fall/winter season model). The size chart numbers are different, but the fit feels the same size. Even when layered, it's almost the same size. I'm 172cm, slender, and can wear it slightly larger. The hem covers my butt and the sleeves are just the right length. I don't mind the direction of the front button text being mixed up, but I wonder why (the authentic light has them aligned).
As it got cold, it became an essential item for my commute. It's super warm!
Mountain Down Jacket! I purchased it at a time with a 10% discount! For Baltoro, I would wear XL, but it had room in size, so M fit perfectly! I look forward to wearing it during the New Year holidays!
