The Air Insulation Jacket features built-in air chambers that can be inflated to adjust the dead air within the garment. Made with 15 denier nylon and 30 denier hard ripstop polyethylene, the design utilizes body mapping to harness the properties of the materials. The insulation material, Ventrix, is designed to regulate the amount of fill in areas prone to moisture and those requiring heat retention. The air chamber system, integrated into the upper arm and abdomen, allows for adjustable dead air based on the amount of air injected, facilitating thermal regulation across a wide temperature range in various conditions. Air injection is performed using the included stuff sack through the air injection valve located in the left chest pocket. Adjusting and releasing air can be done easily with valve operation while on the move. The air chamber is removable from the jacket's back, making it easy to maintain at home. With a standard fit, this jacket is versatile enough to be used as an intermediate layer. The air chambers can be deflated for compact storage, making it a unique and technical item that serves as a backup insulation layer for various seasons.
