The Baltoro Jacket, a representative outer shell of THE NORTH FACE from the 2000s, has been updated with modern technology. While retaining the details of the original design, it has been tailored for a silhouette that fits today's lifestyle. The outer fabric features a 50-denier ePE GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER 2-layer material without fluorinated membranes. It strikes a balance between thickness and a supple texture. The insulation includes photonic down with excellent heat retention thanks to the infrared effect of special ceramics. Clean down, thoroughly cleaned using advanced washing technology, ensures high warmth retention. The lining is made of titanium-coated nylon, radiating absorbed heat for natural warmth. Inside, there are pockets and a bottle holder. It offers a loose silhouette that does not hinder movement even when worn over a mid-layer. With functionality for winter outdoor activities like snow hiking and skiing, it also seamlessly transitions to urban use.

CLEANDOWN uses raw down that has been cleaned and processed by Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer based in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. Utilizing the dry climate that allows down feathers to open easily and the soft water flowing in this area, dirt and dust are thoroughly removed without damaging the down, resulting in clean down. The cleaned down has superior bulkiness compared to unwashed down and provides enhanced insulation. Clean down wraps the body more warmly.

GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT
The GREEN DOWN RECYCLE PROJECT is a project that collects and refines down (feathers), which are a limited resource, and utilizes them as raw materials for new products, including down clothing, under the name 'GREENDOWN'. It reduces the carbon dioxide emitted when burning down (approximately 1.8 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted for 1 kg of down) and the carbon dioxide generated when transporting it from the country of origin to Japan.
