This high-performance outer shell jacket is designed for climbing, improving functionality in a layering system while anticipating the varied routes encountered during the domestic snowfall season. It utilizes a 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro fabric made of 70-denier material, providing protection, wind resistance, and exceptional waterproof breathability to adapt to weather and environmental changes from snowy to wet conditions. Lightweight yet effective in minimizing the intrusion of cold wind, water, and snow while efficiently expelling humidity from within the garment. The main zipper at the front features a reverse-opening double-action design for ease of use with a harness. It includes large storage pockets with flaps on each side, as well as ventilation zippers for access to the interior even from the sides, allowing easy retrieval of electronic devices stored in mid-layers or bib pants. The hood is designed to accommodate helmets, featuring a one-hand adjuster and an improved release function for enhanced operability. The silhouette is finished in a standard fit, adopting a three-dimensional sleeve pattern that follows dynamic movements. This technical item enhances convenience for a wide range of uses, from day trips or mountain hut stays to multi-day climbs involving overnight snow camping.

Ascent Peak Jacket
As soon as I saw the real thing, I wanted it and bought it immediately! Of course, I use it in the snowy mountains. I used an all-mountain jacket before, but this one has better functionality and texture—it's the best. In any case, it's so cool!

I purchased it for variety. Good points: the shape of the hood allows for a wide field of vision. The position of the ventilation is probably convenient. The location of the pockets on both sides. The strap that tightens the cuffs is a nice touch. Gore Pro 70D is decent. Points for improvement: I'd like a bit more room around the neck. Is a double action necessary? If you're going to put a flap on the pocket, it should be the other way around. The size was a bit tricky. Well, I'll give it a try.
