A versatile mid-layer jacket featuring synthetic insulation, designed for easy layering under an outer shell. The main material consists of lightweight 12-denier recycled nylon in the front body and sleeves, while a stretch blend of nylon and polyurethane is used for the back and underarms. The insulation utilizes THE NORTH FACE's proprietary technology with slit-structured batting known as VENTRIX ECO. As you move, the slits open, allowing excess heat to escape; when you stop, the slits close to retain warmth, creating an innovative insulation system that balances heat retention and heat release. The amount of insulation is tailored to specific areas: more insulation in the front and around the shoulders, while the underarms promote heat release and the sleeves and back are designed to reduce bulk and enhance quick-drying properties. Enhanced breathability is achieved through laser punching, keeping you comfortable for longer while minimizing the need to layer up or down. The silhouette features a standard fit for easy layering. Zippered pockets on both sides offer secure storage, and a mesh pocket on the left chest is convenient for small electronic devices. It also includes a stuff sack for compact carrying, making it a highly functional piece that can serve you well in any season, whether during activities or breaks.
